A collaboration between Jon Peters of Longview Woodworking and his son Walter, owner of MW Machine Co., has resulted in a high-quality chisel mallet. Crafted from premium materials sourced in the USA, the mallet features a brass head and a Jatoba hardwood handle. Walter machines the brass heads in his shop, while Jon turns the handles in his workshop. Each piece reflects the Peters' commitment to quality and craftsmanship. This is the first in a line of tools that Jon and Walter plan to release, emphasizing quality and American manufacturing. For this initial run, they will produce 50 mallets, with a goal of shipping by December 5, 2024.
